DTV/SBS-Workshop on Digital Skills for Standardisation Experts

Small Business Standards (SBS), the SME manufacturer association for non-textile protective equipment SME Safety and the European Digital SME association togther with DTV will host an english-language workshop on digital skills for the digital transformation of the PPE, textile care and medical devices sector.

The event is aimed at industry experts, political decision-makers and standardisation exoerts in order to discuss the key digital skills that will be required in these sectors in the future. To this end, we want to examine the relevant EU initiatives and new technologies such as data management, the Internet of Things and smart labelling solutions together.
The main focus will be on the challenges and opportunities of digital skills, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as the role of data management with regard to compliance with ecodesign and Digital Product Passport requirements. The infrastructure of labelling technologies, including RFID, will also be discussed.
As we are also addressing international standardisation experts, the event will be held in English.
